Church Account is the primary user account (user name and password) for accessing online Church resources. Church Account was formerly known as LDS Account. what is difference between the record numbers with just numbers and the one with alphabets at the end of the record numbers?

Absolutely no difference. All MRN’s appears to have 11 numbers. The last digit can be a letter or number. My own MRN has a letter.

The last character in a membership record number is a check digit that's used to verify whether the number as a whole is valid. To properly check the rest of the number, there need to be 11 possible values for the check digit. Because 0–9 only provides 10 possible digits, A is added as the 11th possible digit.

Note that the check digit doesn't verify if a given number is in use, it only verifies that the number follows the correct pattern such that it could be a valid number.
