EIKI cassette recorders

#1

Post by drepouille »

Our meetinghouse has:
- Eiki 3279A Industrial Cassette Tape Recorder under the Sacrament table
- EIKI 5090A Cassette Tape Recorder in the library

I just wonder if I can use either of those to attenuate the line level signal from the Record Out jack under the Sacrament table, to connect to my laptop mic input?

Only if they have a low level output. You can try the earphone out. But I doubt if they have any kind of manual level control.

The EIKI 5090A seems to have a manual record level control. You could try using the headset out to mic in on your device. It may be noisy.

I'm not optimistic, but you're not going to blow anything up.
