On the "Handbooks and Callings" > "Stake or District Callings" > "Additional Callings" > "Stake Technology Specialist" > "Resources" page (https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/stu ... s?lang=eng), it shows:

"Additional Resources on ChurchofJesusChrist.org for Your Calling"
- Leader and Clerk Resources (LCR)

But... I get the "Access Denied" message.

I DO have access to other areas (tm. and webcast.) but not lcr.

Thanks :)
I might be mistaken, but IIUC, being able to access TM should indicate your calling is recorded as a regular calling rather than a custom calling.

Are you able to test whether you get the same results with different computers/devices and different browsers?

Have you tried deleting cookies and clearing browser caches? It's a long shot, but there's a slight possibility deleting cookies and clearing caches might solve the problem.

EDIT: Please disregard this post. I'll defer to russellhltn's more correct information below.

The resources page is incorrect. The STS does not have any access to LCR. It would be nice to have access to the Access Table so you'd know who was supposed to have access to what, but that wasn't granted.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

I tried it incognito (no cookies), and same issue.

Thank you.

And yes, I agree... it would be nice to see/know who is supposed to have access to what. :)

Bumping this up - have a new ward clerk unable to access LCR, gets the access denied message. Initially stake clerk put him in the calling and then I (exec sec) did the second level approval. No luck. Oddly at the same time we'd called a new asst. clerk for finance, he also had the yellow second approval bar in LCR, but when either myself or the Bishop would click on actions, there were only the options to edit or deny/remove. The stake clerk removed the asst. clerk from the calling, added him back in, and we got the ability to approve (don't know on him yet if he has LCR access). Tried similar with the ward clerk - remove/add back in, approved it, still no access to LCR. Finally, earlier in this thread someone mentioned having the person update their password. Tried that this morning, still no access. Any ideas? Not sure who I could escalate to at Church IT?

Just a guess on my part, but it sounds to me like that might be a job for the Global Services Department. We have been asked to not post the phone number here, but it's easy to find in clerk training/support materials and other places.

I'd check the basics:
  • He's recorded as the correct standard position.
  • You've waited 24 hours since the calling was recorded.
  • The MRN on the account he's using matches the MRN of the person in the calling.
  • He's tried using incognito mode (in case this is a cookies issue).

Another thing to check is that he's going to the home page of LCR, not a link to a specific page or report in LCR that he may or may not have access to.
