Problem Defined: Listening to fully downloaded Conference Session in Succession. Some will contain the speaker's voice, while interspersed are "text to voice" readings.
Notes:
IPAD
Whole Conference Session Audio Download
Download with DOWNLOAD AUDIO from menu in upper right
Have allowed it to sit for hours after download says complete with no difference
Download on Wifi
Have years of experience doing these downloads
Don't believe that 2022 conferences are better than 2002 conferences
Any clues from anyone. I'm glad to have even the text to voice, but would prefer to have the speaker's own voice.

Re: Text to Voice in Some Downloaded General Conference Sessions
Is it consistently the same talks that have text to speech, or is it inconsistent? If there's a certain talk that always plays text to speech, could you provide an example?

Re: Text to Voice in Some Downloaded General Conference Sessions
An Example:
Downloaded audio of Oct 2013 General Conference completely.
Earbud to ear, began outside exercise.
Clicked audio of first talk first Session.
President Monson came on with Text to Voice.
audio turned to next speaker.
Next came Hales, Soares and Stephens in succession, all with speakers voice.
but when audio moved to next speaker:
Elders Bednar then Uchtdorf were Text to Voice.
When I complete the Conference session it is erased and replaced, so I can not really say if exact scenario above is repeatable.
Samuel, do you have any thoughts?

Re: Text to Voice in Some Downloaded General Conference Sessions
I tried to reproduce the issue, but I wasn't able to on my device – I downloaded October 2013 General Conference audio, then put my device in airplane mode (to simulate being offline), then skipped through several talks, and they all played correctly, with the speaker's recorded audio. I'm not sure what might be happening, but my best guess is that for some reason, not all of the files are downloading correctly for you.
