Google "HDMI to USB Adapter" for some ideas.

The HDMI port on most laptops is HDMI Out from the laptop to a display such as a projector or television. One of the HDMI to USB Adapters will take HDMI and adapt it so that when you plug the USB end into a laptop port you will see the video and be able to do something with it. (Put it into a Zoom meeting or webinar, pull it up in OBS, or something similar.)

Will the HDMI adapter above work?
Someone else will have to weigh in on the quality, but that looks like a reasonable pick. You're on the right track.

Thank you for all your help!!!

Will this work for using zoom to broadcast sacrament? This link is the setup in the tech room:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1A2L ... MApRU/edit

For Audio: Connect 3.5m to AUDIO IN and the other end to this adapter ( https://www.amazon.com/Sabrent-External ... VQ0F8?th=1 ) and from this adapter to the laptop.
If the set up above doesn’t work , what adapter or options will I need to make the audio work

For Picture: I will connect the HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT or CAMERA OUT (picture) and the other end will connect to this adapter ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B091NX27 ... asin_title ) and from this adapter to the USB B/C port on the laptop.

What other basic options may work with the setup in the tech room?

You need to find an AUDIO OUT jack.

Thank you for putting this together. Very helpful to see what others are doing for zoom.

Note: Theres a setting in zoom where the host can unmute participants, but participants must approve when signing on to the meeting. Check out your zoom settings. Thx

What is a TinySine and how do I find one to purchase? The video quality on a Zoom broadcast is great for Stake Conference, but the audio is not very good. This sounds like a great option to improve the audio quality of a Zoom broadcast.
How are you currently routing your audio from the building to the Zoom device?

Do you have the "enable original audio" box ticked?
You can watch here to see:

Thanks for the video. It's given me some perspective. For a long while, we have been using a webcam mounted on the rostrum and a device for the hard of hearing and a crab box for Zoom audio so we haven't needed an audio mixer. We have temporarily changed to the webcast system using the chapel camera to relieve the bishopric of this task. In a short two weeks, I need to switch back to Zoom using the chapel camera and audio and that's where I am running into a snag. We were sent a Razer Ripsaw USB Capture Card. I am running the video and audio through the Ripsaw and OBS. Video works but not audio. You are apparently channeling your audio and video inputs directly into Zoom without OBS. If this is correct, I may be causing my own problem.

By the way, is your PTZ camera HD or do you have a transcoder? If you have an HD camera, what model is it?

Thanks!
