This is supposed to be planned maintenance, though think it started prior to the announced time. It's now saying page not found. Obviously a down for maintenance notice was not part of the planned outage.

Hope finance is up again before Sunday.

And now it's down again. Displaying "error.occurred" and "error.text"

Then, upon refresh:

"Uh oh! We're Sorry ...

It looks like something went wrong which prevented the page you requested from displaying. Sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused!"

Considering it is already Sunday morning in parts of the Pacific beyond the International Date Line, this bodes very poorly.

And the GSD is currently closed so no support to find out what is happening and when this will be resolved. This on top of the EFT problems from December which appear to be finally fixed, the fiasco of 25 January with the budget sweeps to HQ which the GSD is blaming on a system error in their recording when one calls today and the recording also says they are working to reverse all the sweeps does make one wonder what exactly is going on with finance and January is not even over yet.

I also point out the fact that this Sunday is the last Sunday of the month and some welfare checks for rent will no doubt need to be cut. We have seen this in the recent past with finance woes, and it has also also been in conjunction with the last Sunday of the month. Coincidence or poor planning?

Now finance is up again, but is it trustworthy? Only time and our experiences will tell. Confidence is shaken in IT reliability with these type issues. That is reality.

Since they're in a different area office, running with a different currency, on a different banking system; it's likely they're on a different financial system.

Maybe they are even luckier and have different developers too.

Not as of now. To clarify, LCR works, but not LCR-finance.

Someone is having a 'fun" weekend. Clearly something didn't go as planned. I just hope they had a good "plan of retreat".
