Gordon Fiero Stake Tech. Specialist
As the Stake Technology specialist in My Stake, I created the Stake GMAIL account, then the Zoom Account and password, Then created each of 10 wards zoom login's and passwords and sent the login's and passwords to each of the Bishops and the login for the stake to the Stake President. The advantage to this is consistency, all the ward had the same login format, XXStakeNameXX+"two initial of the ward"@gmail.com.... If the ward is the cool stream ward then use the initials "CS" Then I assigned the passwords using this format...If it's the Austin Texas Stake, the password would be Ats4324346 (Property Number)
This just an example, use the Abbreviation of the stake plus the Ward property number...the example is made up.

This is great for the Stake Technology specialist because he has a complete list of all the logins and passwords for every ward plus the Stake. He can then quickly view each ward on Sunday to check video and audio Quality from his home on his smart phone and can resolve problems as they occur... Its worked beautifully over the past three years.

I have applied for a zoom license for the Alice Branch and I'm getting a response that it is waiting on church review. How long does it usually take for a reply?

I have been asked to sub for an educational church mtg, like the resiliency classes.
They gave me the instructions to go to: churchofjesuschrist.zoom.us
And then I click start a meeting, and it takes me to lds church sign in, so I do, with my own personal credentials.
Then it says, from the Zoom website:

Something went wrong while you tried signing in with SSO
For use by authorized Church workforce only. Visit the Service Catalog to learn how to request access.

Apparently our stake and other specialists don't know how to fix this. Help? I need to be able to login and use the same zoom meeting they normally host this from so everyone can join the same link as always.

Suggestions? Thank you, Sterling Wall

If you're using a web browser, there's a slight chance clearing your browser's cache and deleting relevant cookies might solve the problem. If not, please remember that this is a user-to-user discussion forum and there's no guarantee anyone with solutions will read this thread. Using the Feedback link/button is a more direct channel to official help/support. Or, if it's urgent enough, a call to the Global Services Department might be necessary.

Chances are they'll have to set up a meeting and find a way of granting you moderator rights.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

Ask whoever usually runs the meeting to give you the "host key".

I am the stake tech specialist as well as the specialist for my ward. When I try to go to meet.churchofjesuschrist.org I get the 403 page error. I have checked in tools and my calling on the church website while logged in and I can see the tech stuff. What am I missing?

Try incognito mode.

If incognito mode does not work, contact the GSD. There was a problem early on that affected stake technology specialists who also had other callings recorded in LCR.

If incognito mode solves the symptoms, clearing the browser cache and deleting relevant cookies may solve the symptoms for regular mode--until the cookie builds up again...
