Create a Ward Zoom Account

Our ward has been using a private Zoom account we created during the pandemic to broadcast sacrament meetings (not the sacrament). While this is no longer needed for the pandemic, we still have home-bound elderly members who watch the meeting from home. I'd like to get set up with the individual ward zoom account as per the June 1, 2022 notice the church sent out. In church communications and on the tech forum, the documentation says to go to this site, meet.churchofjesuschrist.org to get set up, but this gives me a 403 error. Is there some updated guidance on setting up a ward zoom account?

You'll need to have the stake technology specialist set it up. Ward specialists don't have access.

If he has problems, he'll need to use incognito mode.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

I agree that only the Stake Technology Specialist has access to manage Zoom licenses. But I also happened to learn today that Ward Technology Specialists in our stake can still access the https://meet.churchofjesuschrist.org/ site. They don’t appear to have access to the license management. But they can at least see the Manage Events page. I’m not sure of the purpose of that page still. But I think there should at least be something there. I like your recommendation to try incognito mode to maybe resolve the 404 error some might be experiencing.
