We created an out of unit membership record for a YSA who attends a YSA branch in a neighboring stake. We tried to assign her the calling of Stake YSA Representative so she can view YSA members in our stake. When trying to save that calling, I get the following error…
“The name entered does not match the name used on the membership record. Please check the name, and try again.”
Anyone know why this might be?

You might need to use the MRN rather than the name for recording the calling.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.
