Lost Member Report does not show Last Known Address

#1

Post by wendell »

The lost member report does not show the last known address. Is there any way to get that report with that info? If not that would be very helpful to add.

That information is available in the member information of the report. Member information is available by either clicking the hyperlinked member name or by selecting View Member Information from the ellipses (3 dots) menu to the right side of the page for each member name.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I was aware that I could get to the information. I am having the Ward Missionaries help with trying to find the lost members. They do not have access to the Lost Members Report and so I wanted to print the report to give to them but that information is not included in the printed report. Would be nice to have a way to include that information in the report. Thanks

Can you not print out the information for each family on the lost member report when you pull that family's information up? You may end up with a page for each family, but I would do that for a several reasons:
1. You can decide which families the missionaries should help with and which ones other organizations should help with (the family pages become nice individual assignment sheets).
2. The missionaries have single, focused tasks they can tackle when they have time.
3. The missionaries would have plenty of paper space to write notes of what they did/found.
4. As the missionaries finished a family, they could turn the page in rather than hang on to a long report that could get lost in a transfer.
5. When turned in, the page could be passed to another organization in your ward/branch for other tasks if needed to finish the finding steps. Or it could be used by the assistant clerk-membership to enter the information back into LCR to send the record back (or on to their new ward if an address was located).

Our missionary involvement is before we send the record to 'address unknown' which moves the name to the Lost Member Report. The missionaries may have been the ones who reported the member was no longer at their address on record.
