Feature request for copy/paste

As a Sunday School teacher, I like to have the footnotes available as I read, but I DON"T want the footnotes when I copy/paste them. I often turn footnotes off when I am copying verses into my lesson so the footnote letters don't appear in the copied text. Could you provide an option that allows to leave footnotes on, but not copy them when I copy/paste?
