Calendar events without a Calendar selected do not show up in LDSTools

Appointments created online that do not have a calendar selected then do not show up in LDSTools. This causes issues for people using LDSTools to manage their calendars and thinking that a building is available - when it isn't. Possible solutions could be to show all calendar events whether they have a calendar assigned or to force every event to have a calendar assigned. This mis-match causes confusion for members using LDSTools.

I don't understand what you mean by "do not have a calendar selected". Are they being placed in the location calendar?

Second, any member assuming "if nothing is scheduled then I can use the building" is using it wrong. That assumption can only lead to problems. For starters, Member Tools does not give you that information. For example, you can't see the events scheduled by another ward.

It also creates problems when someone else makes the same assumption. Not to mention when something goes wrong and the agent bishop asks "who used it last?".

The only safe way to do it is to schedule an event. If it allows it, then you're good. If one does not have editor rights, then maybe they shouldn't me making those plans. Having the keys isn't the same as having the authority.

As mentioned, activities in other units in a building do NOT show up in member tools calendar. Only your ward and stake events can be configured to display in the app.
