New Projectors

#1

Post by jstrain »

First, I am new to this calling, so I am extreemly ignorant on the processes. I am learning, have went through the trainings online, and I hope some of you can help me here.

I have 2 junk projectors, only have VGA input, and one not good projector. I have started the disposal process for the junk ones, but I need to replace at least the not good one.

Where can I find the approved projectors and what is the process to procure them? Any preferences in the choices? Should every building have a projector or just the stake center? If every building, I expect I would keep them in the library.

Trying to clean out all the junk before I procure stuff, but it takes time and a projector cant wait.

Talk to the FM group. More than likely it's their equipment. Ask them about how to dispose/replace the projectors.

It's possible some of the projectors were bought with ward/stake funds. In that case you' have more latitude in what to do with them.

You may want to read Technology Standards in the Help Center. That will help you understand how things are supposed to work. Section 3.2 and 3.9 in particular.
