Is this for listening to the scriptures? What language and which volume?

Well, you've got about three voice options ish, for the scriptures, anyway.

You have a reader of each sex, and then you have text-to-speech. Within text-to-speech, you have a bunch of options.

Which mobile device are you using? If it's Android, then have it play something. Then click on the picture next to where it's playing. Then click the three vertical dots in the upper-right corner. Then go to Audio Type, and make your choice.

An easier way to get there is to go to Settings. Then go to Audio Settings. Then go to Preferred Audio Type.
