Dark Mode for IOS
The new updates have messed up dark mode on my iPad and iPhone. While in the scriptures, I can view in dark mode, however, when I go back to the main library page or any of the other sections, dark mode is not available. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a fix?

Re: Dark Mode for IOS
This change was made on purpose (see the release notes for 6.5.0) – the in-app theme setting was moved to "Display Options" (in the overflow menu in the reading view), and the background theme only applies to the reading view. This aligns with other reading apps (Kindle, Apple Books, etc.). If you want the full app to be dark, you'll need to set your device to dark mode.
That said, I agree that it's annoying that the app switches back and forth between light and dark when navigating around. Gospel Library has some similarities with other reading apps, but it also has differences in how it's used. And the Android app does still have an in-app switch to switch the full app to light or dark. You could send in a feature request under Help > Send Feedback in Gospel Library, to request that this be changed (the support team keeps track of common feature requests).

Please allow this to be an option, not standard. We love the ability to click the blue link in dark mood as we read scriptures as a family before bedtime, and having it in dark mood is a great way to wind down the family.
In the future could we have beta test options and user feedback before implementing changes?

As stated in the post before yours, the way to make this type of request is via the Feedback functionality. The Tech Forum primarily serves as user-to-user interaction and self-help, and although there are a few Church employees who frequent these pages, nothing that happens here makes its way into the Church's system unless a Forum member submits Feedback separately.ShawnSmith wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 6:50 pm Please allow this to be an option, not standard.
