Scripture/Quote of the Day History

#1

Post by Bibli0philic »

I love the scripture + quote of the day in the gospel library app and online. I was wondering if there was a way to view past scriptures and quotes? Sometimes I get home really late and don’t have time to dig into the scripture and/or quote of the day that I’d had a thought or question about earlier and didn’t have time to pursue, but it’s past midnight and I can’t see it anymore. I’d love a way to view past daily quotes and scriptures. Is that possible? I’ve poked around in-app and online but haven’t seen anything. Thanks!

There isn't currently a way. You could send it as a feature request in the app under Help > Send Feedback!

Do you happen to have June 7, 2024’s scripture quote? If you could post it, that would be great! Thank you!

Good news, I actually was needing the quote and was blessed to remember enough to able to find it. Thank
you, tho! That’s cool you write ‘em down for keeping ‘em close and ever present. We are so blessed! The GospelApp rocks!

Since you mentioned you had many of them written down I just thought I would ask... Do you happen to know this quote.. I am certain I am remembering it wrong because I can't find it but it was the quote of the day probably about 6 months ago and I wish I could find it and it's source...

"If you want your children to know Jesus, bring them to him"
Someone similar to that....

Maybe you're thinking of a quote from Jan E. Newman's talk, "Preserving the Voice of the Covenant People in the Rising Generation" (October 2023)?
https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/general-conference/2023/10/23newman?lang=eng
"Wouldn’t it be wonderful if our children could have experiences like that with Jesus Christ—something that would bind their hearts to Him! He invites us, as He invited those parents in the Book of Mormon, to bring our little ones to Him. We can help them know their Savior and Redeemer the way these children did. We can show them how to find the Savior in the scriptures and build their foundations on Him. …
"Let us accept the Savior’s invitation and bring our children to Him. As we do so, they will see Him. They will feel Him. They will know Him. He will teach them. He will bless them. And, oh, how He will love them."

Do you happen to have the quote of the day for yesterday, Sept 3rd? It was a quote about God’s power in our lives.

Here it is:
"God’s power is a real power that helps us face challenges, make good decisions, and increase our capacity to endure difficult situations."
