Ward becoming a group

#1

Post by ulupoi »

We have a language ward being converted into a group within a regular ward. Do they get to keep their unit computer or should it be returned to the FM Office? The unit computer is only about a year old, so it has tons of life left in it.

I'm not sure what the use-case might be for retaining two computers. The Group leader(s) won't have LCR access, and won't process donations on Sundays. Perhaps a switch could occur if the ward computer is older?

I expect the answer will end up being the same as when two wards are combined, as to how the FM Group will handle the unneeded computer. I'm sure others have experience with that process.
