Record removal
My wife and I are going through a messy divorce currently and I'm trying to find out if only one parent can request to have children's records removed from the church or if it requires both parents?

Re: Record removal
Handbook 32.14.9 says:
It appears the answer to your question depends on the outcome of the divorce.A minor who wishes to resign his or her Church membership follows the same procedure as an adult, with one exception: the request should be signed by the minor (if over the age of 8) and by the parent(s) or guardian(s) who have legal custody of the minor.
