Hey, everyone! I apologize if this has been asked before, but for some reason, it says I am not allowed to use the Search function on those forums.
We have a member who accidentally submitted an expense reimbursement twice, and it was paid twice. What is the procedure to resolve this?

If your calling is at a ward or branch level, you might get a quicker answer by asking your stake clerk. Because this is a user-to-user discussion forum and not an official help/answer channel, it's a guess whether anyone who knows an accurate/correct/up-to-date answer will see this thread.

Unless something has changed, what has to happen is to have the member "donate" it back budget using either cash or check doing the gray envelope routine.
Since the online donations doesn't support budget, it can't be done that way.

That's pretty much how we did it when I was ward clerk. The member wrote a check, and we entered it as an anonymous donation. I left multiple notes for the auditor, explaining what happened and how we corrected it.

I don't think you need to enter it as an anonymous donor. It won't show on the tax forms.
Having the name will help if the duplicate is noticed. It would be easier to find the reimbursement.
