As a ward council, we were reviewing training from October 2024 General Conference leadership meeting. There is section with the title: “Video: Ward Websites—A New Tool for Sharing the Gospel”. Based on that training it seems that Ward Websites are now being hosted again by churchofjesuschrist.org rather than wards just creating groups on social media like Facebook.
I have not been able to figure out how to access and update the Ward website in the way suggested in the training video. Does anyone have any insights on how we can do that? How do we give permissions for others to publish events and update information for a ward website?
Thanks!

You might want to follow along with the NEW Public Ward Websites! thread.
The quick run down:
It's for wards (not stakes - at least not at this time). The site is managed via LCR at https://lcr.churchofjesuschrist.org/act ... page-admin
The activities themselves are pushed from the Calendar.
Some details at Activity Sharing.

Other useful info which does not seem to be available publicly - not all units will have a website. They are only established on a stake by stake basis. If your stake was not selected, your stake president will need to contact their area seventy to get the ball rolling for your stake.
