Report of Attendance Elder's Quorum

#1

Post by diegoarispe »

The stake president asked me to create a report of the members who have had at least attended 1 Elder's Quorum meeting over the past three months. This is to evaluate a meeting with all the Elder's Quorum Presidents on the status of their Cuorum. However, I cannot find such a report or create one myself with the available tools on LCR. I believe this should be possible since attendance is recorded in every quorum and class every week, but I cannot create a report of that kind. Could someone help me with this?

Have you checked the Quarterly Report?

I think the line "Melchizedek Priesthood holders attending priesthood, Sunday School, or Primary meetings" might be what you're looking for.

I am a Secretary to the Quorum, but in Quarterly Report, I only have access to the aggregated data, which do not contain individual information. Additionally, no title there contains the word "Quorum".

I believe the only way here is to manually verify in Class and Quorum Attendance.

On top of that we all know Elders quorum members are in other callings, and will never to rarely in our meeting.
I see some info they should be included if at church. But the report title always stops me.

I'd suggest that if the data is simply being entered to fulfill reporting requirements, then it doesn't really matter if EQ members are missed or not. To me, the underlying purpose of any church report is to try and inform leaders of different pieces of information, both at the micro and macro-levels. Granted some report data determines budgeting allowances, and those seem to get a lot more attention in general ;)

If a Stake Presidency is interested in EQ member second hour attendance, I expect there's varying degrees of tracking in the different units. Perhaps better would be for them to request that for the upcoming three months, each EQ secretary make a focused effort to enter complete weekly attendance info, at which point there would be more uniform data for the stake to review and use as guidance.
