New convert data disappeared before could be processed

New convert data disappeared before could be processed

Anyone else having an issue with new convert data which disappeared before the ward clerk could process it? We had a new convert baptized and confirmed a week ago, but when the data first appeared and I clicked on the button for the next screen, a message appeared which said an error had occurred and to refresh the page or try again later. Refresh deleted the data I had been looking at for the convert. Since then, the data has not reappeared. The GSD says they cannot help and they do not see the data either. They also said the missionaries need to submit the data again, but the missionaries are unable to do so as the submit button is greyed out. The missionaries are attempting to contact the missionary department for help. My guess is somehow the interface between the missionary data and LCR got broken. Any thoughts?

Update: The missionaries have been in contact with the Missionary Department IT specialists. The IT folks confirmed the problem and initially said it was fixed, then said no, it was not fixed and they have escalated it to the developers.

Meanwhile, we had another convert confirmed in our ward. And the same thing happened. Now there are two memberships I am unable to create.

Update 2: I just confirmed with the GSD that the problem with new member's information disappearing for the clerk and the subsequent inability to create a membership record for converts is NOT unique to our ward. They have gotten multiple complaints from other wards on this and they expressed hope that the missionary department IT staff would fix it soon.

Update 3: The membership of the first convert finally came through today after the missionary department called the missionaries and gave them instructions of how to send it through again. This time it worked. Now just have one pending convert membership stuck in the system.

Update 4: The membership for the second convert came through today. We had to remind the missionary department that it was still pending but they did react quickly to the reminder. There have been new converts since the two with the data problems and those came through all right.

I will mention, however, that the birthplace field of the convert continues to come through blank, and information on parents, spouse. marriage and children is also not passing through to the clerk, even though the missionaries are usually entering it. They have been always entering the birthplace, but nothing appears. All of these have been issues for quite a while, and I have emailed the missionary department about them continuing to be problems. It creates a lot of extra, unnecessary work.
