I can no longer access my church account on my iPad as it says I need to re-sign in and now can not login using a browser due to the required 2FA requirement that asks for a USB Security Key. I never set up a USB security key and can not change the settings. My phone still allows me to use Tools and Library with no issues even though I have changed my password multiple times over the last 24 hrs. I get the text and email messages when I change my password using a PC, but not when I request them in order to login on my iPad. I can not see a place to update this setting using Tools on my phone.
How can I update my second login authentication to a text message or email rather than the USB Security Key?

From the main page, click on the orb with your initials/profile photo, then "Account".
Or, go to account.churchofjesuschrist.org
If you can change it, it would be there.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

I was able to get in by contacting tech support and having them reset my account. I was unable to make the change myself since I was unable to login. To contact them call [phone number removed] if you have similar login issues.

The Global Services Department (GSD) support staff has asked we not publish the support telephone number in the forum. The support number for each area is unique. Posting the one for the U.S. and Canada can cause confusion for those not serviced by this number as well as overloading that switch. That sounds frustrating! To update your 2FA settings, try signing into your account on a PC where you can securely access your settings. Find the 2FA management section to change from a USB security key to text or email. Support can also help if you're locked out again.”
