I have a bus. I drive for other wards and stakes. I need to be able to show Youth Protection when asked. In the Boy Scouting Program, I am able to look up all of my own trainings. (Safe Boating, Hiking, Hazardous Weather, Safe Swimming, and so on.) I am able to print out of my training certificates with the dates taken and expiration dates. I am now in a new ward without a current calling that requires Church Youth Protection.
How do I Show my unexpired church youth protect to those other stake and ward leaders?

The last time I took the training, I was given the option to download or print a certificate. I don't know if you can do so after exiting the training. If not, you may need to take it again to get the certificate - fortunately retaking it is not terribly time consuming. If I needed a certificate, I would just retake it to get one. I think your bishop and clerk can see training status (likely not a certificate) and they may be able to provide something you could use.DavidCarrollSmith1953 wrote: Wed Mar 27, 2024 9:41 am I have a bus. Re: Ability to see own status of Youth Protection training
I just re-took the training myself on my phone (via the website, not Tools or GL), it states it will take 30 minutes, and was a bit under that. At the end, no certificate was available. But I did get an email immediately upon finishing, which I suppose one could print out and use for verification.
The email states my training is good for 3 years, and includes a date-stamp. So that's at least something quasi-official, in lieu of a certificate.

Nobody else here can answer that question. This is a user-to-user discussion forum, not a staffed help/request/support channel. If you cannot see your status in your Church Account profile, you might try asking your ward clerk.

As Temple Workers, you can now look under "Profiles and Preferences" in the Temple Worker portal and see when your Youth Protection status ends. Not sure when that started or if it's entirely new.

I think it has been around about a year or so, when they first asked all temple workers to take the training.

I was going to find this thread and comment that as a newly added Temple Worker I could see my youth protection dates - So it's available easily enough - it's a desire thing - what we have here is no department wants to give up their rotation to add something to the Tools App to get our Youth Protection dates. So members still have to worry about being put on some naughty list that is then 'followed up' on without them even being notified - We do this with TR, simple enough to add the Youth Protection. BTW, it's my personal opinion that it should just be required if you have a TR anyway.pryzm wrote: Tue Mar 18, 2025 8:54 pm As Temple Workers, you can now look under "Profiles and Preferences" in the Temple Worker portal and see when your Youth Protection status ends. Re: Ability to see own status of Youth Protection training
Sometime in the past couple of months the availability of members to view their own protecting children and youth training has been added to their "My Home" page on the Church website. The "Youth Protection Training" tile is in the column on the right side of the page. The tile shows your training status, the last completed date, the renewal date, a Start Training button, and a "Learn More".
I am not certain whether this tile is available to all members, if it is limited to just adult members, or any other limited list of members. I do not have a calling that puts me on the current training report but I have the tile on My Home page.

Re: Ability to see own status of Youth Protection training
One of the (many) nice things about this addition, is that now a member can use their phone to show proof of training status. Although I don't believe (and if I'm wrong, I'm certain I'll be corrected) that there's anything in Tools yet, you can use a browser on your phone to load your home page on the church website, which then shows your status. So if I was asked last-minute to show up to a stake youth event that required the adults to be trained, the stake leaders wouldn't have to go through my unit leaders to pull my status, I could simply show them when I arrive.
