Mine was set up years ago at a church site where I was to ADD ward employment openings to the church site (I was the employment specialist for 9 years). Perhaps it was different than lds.org , or perhaps they lost my information when they went to a new log in protocol.

...
Did LDS Account even exist "years ago"?

Judging by the date on this post and this one, the LUWS switch to LDS Accounts began in February 2009. There was a 90 day grace period where both accounts worked, and then users had to create an LDS account.

They existed earlier than that time for things like the CDOL. The earliest post I could find about LDS accounts was back in Oct 2008.

I can't help but think that the account you created before used a different email address than the one you are entering. Hence, you are not receiving and email. That, or you never created an LDS account. What happens when you try to create one using your membership number and birthday?

Oh, and you can search for ward and stake home pages here.

Yes. As I recall the Provident Living web site at http://www.providentliving.org was where I was to log in to post job openings for the ward. My registration required verification of my access on behalf of the ward - which I have used the same Yahoo email since the internet started.

The LOG IN for the Provident Living web site uses the same as for lds.org

Still haven't gotten a clear answer on this one. Have you tried to create a new LDS account for yourself yet? If not, try it and let us know. It will end all the discussion about if you even have an account.

With your experience with other websites, I hope you understand when I strongly suggest you create a login under your own information rather than your wifes.

Will do.

I was just waiting for the Contact Us team to answer my support email in case they already have my earlier registration. I received their email today, and they are now asking that I register NEW. So apparently my previous log in was deleted.

Everyone's previous login was "deleted," not just yours. When the LDS Account authentication system was set up last year, and applied to LUWS earlier this year, it superseded all the old logins specific to LUWS. We all had to register with LDS Account.

You can find both the classic calendar and the new calendar for the Hamilton New Zealand Glenview Stake by logging onto LDS.org. The logon is the same username and password as you used to logon to this forum. The classic calendar, if it exits, can be found by clicking "Tools" in the menu bar at the top of the page just to the right of the Church's logo and then click "Classic LDS.org Stake and Ward Websites". Once on your ward or branch home page click "Stake Home" found in the blue menu found on the left of the page. On the Hamilton New Zealand Glenview Stakehome page click on "Stake Calendar" in the menu on the left of the page.

The new calendar is also available. Your stake may be using this in lieu of the classic calendar. If so it can be found using the first few steps used to get to the classic calendar. Logon to LDS.org just as before. After clicking "Tools" select "Calendar" instead of "Classic LDS.org Stake and Ward Websites".
