Stake statistical reports and graphs from quarterly reports
Has anyone had success creating an Excel or OpenOffice spreadsheet to track and graph quarterly reports at a stake level?
I found this old thread to be helpful, and the sample report by ericb was very helpful. http://tech.lds.org/forum/showthread.ph ... #post32553
However, my stake president is asking me to track multiple units in my stake over time. I have many years of quarterly reports in .csv format but haven't found a good way to put them together in a spreadsheet and graph that information as a whole.
Has anyone done that successfully? If so I would really appreciate seeing an example of how you did it.

We have been doing this for years. Our format may not be what you desire but each quarter I take all the MPR data and place it in a excel spreadsheet that keeps the last 3 years data. Each ward has one side of a page with all the numerical data and on the backside I have charts for the areas our stake president wishes to track. The first page of the set is the entire stake rolled up into a similar sheet. Give me your email address and I will be happy to send you our workbook.

Rather than the hassle of sending it to lots of people, why don't you just attach it to a post? Or better yet, attach it to the wiki article Quarterly Report.agregory wrote:I would also love this workbook. Could you send it to me?

As Alan_Brown suggested, would you please attach a copy to the wiki article Quarterly Report.

I've updated the wiki article with the latest version of the spreadsheet (as mentioned at the beginning of this thread, I posted the original some time ago in another thread). This includes some instructions regarding the inputting of data.

Whitelaw program
This has made it possible to do all I need including sending a link to the stake president so he can browse at his leisure.
