Household names

Household names

I have a family in my ward where the husband and wife have different legal last names. In MLS there is a field for "Household Name" that is (should be) used when displaying the household. The lds.org Directory application displays this correctly. I checked and the Map application (beta as well as current) still displays the Husbands last name for the household instead of the correct Household Name. This family has been very sensitive about this - please let me know if any more information is needed. Thanks for all you guys do!!

Can you PM me your ward and the household name as displayed in directory?

I am having the same problem. I recently moved out of my mother's house, and we have different surnames, and her surname has followed me to my new household/ward/stake, and I have no idea how to change it.

Speak to your ward membership clerk about it. If you're living by yourself, there shouldn't be any problem.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.
