Handbook 2:17.2.10 provides excellent guidance for the bishop as he counsels with a family in this situation, including how the family may wish to make a record of the stillborn child if they desire to do so.elderromero wrote:Are church records made for miscarried children?
But a Church membership record is not made for a stillborn child.

Since 17.2.10 does not exist in Handbook 2 you must be referencing Handbook 1?lajackson wrote:Handbook 2:17.2.10 provides excellent guidance for the bishop as he counsels with a family in this situation, including how the family may wish to make a record of the stillborn child if they desire to do so.

Re: miscarried children
I am sorry. You are correct. The reference in Handbook 2 is 21.3.10 which is nearly identical.Gary_Miller wrote:Since 17.2.10 does not exist in Handbook 2 you must be referencing Handbook 1?lajackson wrote:Handbook 2:17.2.10 provides excellent guidance for the bishop as he counsels with a family in this situation, including how the family may wish to make a record of the stillborn child if they desire to do so.
Handbook 1:17.2.10 has an extra sentence to help the priesthood leader.
