Re: Hymn sign numbers
How do we know if we have an old or a new hymn board? Ours have been up for a while so I'm guessing they might be "old", but perhaps "old" means ones that have been around since the '80s. I guess we can simply wait until we get our new hymn numbers and then try them out, but it's worth asking beforehand anyways...

We aren't the only church that uses hymn numbers. They are commonly available in various sizes. If the ones from the distribution center don't work for your board, you can order them other places - for example on amazon. One seller I saw on amazon says they will trim them to the exact size you want. Not endorsing amazon - just pointing it out as an example.

Just to follow-up, we did receive the new numbers, and they fit the current board we had. The numbers are now matte instead of glossy, it's noticeable up close but from a distance (at least to my eyes) they are just as good.

Re: Hymn sign numbers
I ordered the Hymn #s ($9.745) on July 10, 1923. as of 7-29 I am still waiting. They have been out of stock for several months, but I finally got an order placed but have not received them? Good luck!

If you ordered and haven't heard in three weeks, call the support number for distribution services. They have developed a problem where they will accept an order, then they will cancel it and not notify anyone.
I had a couple of orders in for months and I waited - thinking it might be backlog, or supply chain issues, etc, so I was practicing patience. When I finally called, the rep looked at the history for those orders and said my order was cancelled just days after I placed it, but they just hadn't sent me a notice. It wasn't every order I placed, just some. A couple were apparently "victims" of distribution changing suppliers (and therefore their internal SKU for an item) and they didn't carry over the orders from the prior SKU to the new SKU (which anyone who does online sales would do automatically - except distribution services). Rep couldn't figure out why the other order was cancelled.
Rep was very helpful and re-ordered everything for me (everything was in stock!), but the delay was irritating. To me, that means you just can't trust them to manage orders at the moment, so if you don't hear in a week or two, call them.
