Manage Out-of-Unit Members and Move Restrictions

I have an update. I communicated with the ward clerk in the other ward and he suggested that we try having him temporarily remove the move restriction, then I add the children as out-of-unit members in our ward, then he restore the move restriction. This appears to have worked. The children now show as out-of-unit members in our ward and the move restriction is back in place.

One note, and I would appreciate validation or clarification: The children show as out-of-unit members in Leader & Clerk Resources (LCR), but they do not show in the LDS.org Directory or in LDS Tools. I am wondering if that is functionality that will be added later to LDS.org Directory and LDS Tools or are they only intended to show in LCR?

Yes, they will eventually be updated but we have no time frame and there is significant effort involved.
