I'd say that seems correct, if I had to choose. However, I don't know what mechanisms the Church has for "syncing" what a speaker actually says, with what the transcript contains. Does the Church allow for "inspiration at the pulpit" in General Conference, and then align the transcript with what the speaker actually said? Sometimes speakers add in something at the start of their talk (anyone listening to live language translators, can easily tell when the translator has to react on-the-fly to something the speaker adds) -- is the transcript always adjusted accordingly, or just sometimes, or never? But in the absence of any official Church statement regarding this, I think we're all left to our own discretion (and some of us will decide differently than others).
As an aside, I personally think our 2026 and 2027 Come Follow Me gospel doctrine discussions will be very interesting with the approval of various editions of the Bible, since there are definitely differences in translations that may generate interesting class conversations. Not directly related to the OP, but still an example of what happens when there are differences in available resources for gospel study.
