We have a situation where a member passed away a couple weeks ago. The member was head of her household, but after her unfortunate death one of her sons moved within the ward boundaries to his non-member father's house. The bishopric feel the child should NOT be considered "head of household", but according to support/help:
"A nonmember spouse cannot be recorded as a head of household or a household member even if he or she lives at the same address as the member spouse."
Any thoughts on to approach this? I know I can rename the household from what it is to something else...perhaps the child's father's name, but it still leaves the child as head of household.
Please advise!

Re: Head of household
That is correct. There's no work around. I'd report that back to the bishop. You can refer him to Make Changes to Member Households to verify what you've said. If he doesn't accept that, he'll have to take that up with support. There's nothing in your power to change it.monisawa wrote:"A nonmember spouse cannot be recorded as a head of household or a household member even if he or she lives at the same address as the member spouse."
