App is running slow the past few days

I am having a big problem reading my scriptures as well - it’s super slow.

Is it slow whether or not you have the sidebar open? (Scrolling may be smoother with the sidebar closed – which mainly affects iPads, because on phones you can't scroll while the sidebar is open unless you're in landscape.)
