In a former ward, one of the members was loudly telling everyone "I want my children to SEE me handing my tithing envelope to the Bishop."
I pointed out the two counselors in the clerk's office who spent a minimum 60 minutes each week doing the tithing count. "So, it's more important for your children to see you hand your envelope to the Bishop than it is for those two fathers to have time with their families on Sunday?"
He thought about that for a minute and told me "I'll start paying online today."
Is it appropriate to encourage online payment of fast offerings and tithing if possible?

Just have the kids looking over his shoulder as he enters his donations on line.
