Re: My Covenant Path
emosier (#6) ... did you ever get a response to your question? As ward clerk, I've been asked to grant access to a new member's Covenant Path, to her ministering sister. Not sure if that is either 1) possible... or 2) appropriate/in keeping with the intent of the application and personal privacy expectations.

Edit permissions are active based on calling. Giving edit permissions outside those granted by calling are not currently possible. I am not sure what callings have edit permission. But from the responsibilities identified in the General Handbook, 23.5.6, I am guessing the ward council members and the ward mission leader would have edit permission.

Re: My Covenant Path
I think it's ideal to actively involve ministering brothers and sisters in helping new members along their own covenant path. There is much info that only certain leaders have access to, and as appropriate they can share portions of that info to those who they have delegated responsibility. So as long as the Bishop agrees, I think it would be very helpful to have a RS Presidency member meet with the ministering sister(s) during a ministering interview, and share what the next step(s) are in the new member's progress, and delegate that stewardship to the ministering sister(s).Not sure if that is either 1) possible... or 2) appropriate.....

Re: My Covenant Path
Understood. To clarify, I wasn't intending to speak about developers granting additional access. Just my perspective that if I was an EQ President and had a new member who I wanted to help along the Covenant Path, I would try and use ministering brothers to support that effort. As EQ President I would have access to the information in Tools/LCR, and could then share relevant information verbally during a ministering interview, and invite the ministering brother(s) to support progress towards the new member's next goal. But as frequently noted, it won't happen unless The Brethren direct the developers to make it so
In other words, ministering brothers/sisters not having direct access to the information, shouldn't impede them from being able to support the Covenant Path progress, if good communication exists between them and their leaders.

There’s two separate parts to my covenant path. There’s a leadership component (My Covenant Path Progress Report), where attendance and preach my gospel lessons are tracked, fellow shippers assigned, etc. (https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/hel ... g=eng&_r=1)
There’s also a teaching component that can be found in the tools app under Adults -> New or Returning Members -> My Covenent Path.

I don't see anything labeled "Adults" in either Tools or Gospel Library. Is the teaching component only open to certain callings?bsummie wrote: Mon Aug 21, 2023 5:05 am There’s also a teaching component that can be found in the tools app under Adults -> New or Returning Members -> My Covenent Path.
