Re: New Donation email for OLD donation
Great! Thanks all for the help in chasing this down. I was never too worried as the email looked very legit and if it did process again, save me a step this month
. But it is mostly surprising because I feel the Church has a very good track record for this type of thing especially considering the size and geographic diversity of the number of users/members. Amazing tech tools! Thanks again!

Re: New Donation email for OLD donation
One thing that puzzles me is that I myself made 3 donations since the beginning of November and now and I haven't received any of these old notifications. Maybe they realized it was happening and manually cleared the queue but not before some got sent? It doesn't matter that much except that if it's sending notifications for all donations since October then there may be a lot of people concerned. I'm wondering if I should at least warn the other clerks in our stake.

The status message on the Donations page states:eblood66 wrote: Fri Feb 06, 2026 7:29 am One thing that puzzles me is that I myself made 3 donations since the beginning of November and now and I haven't received any of these old notifications.
This might imply that some of the messages were successfully delivered at the time that they were generated. Maybe you got the old notifications already when you donated and have forgotten?the email service failed to send many of these emails over the course of the last few weeks.
It would probably be a good idea to let them know about it, and direct them to the message displayed on the Donations page.eblood66 wrote: Fri Feb 06, 2026 7:29 am I'm wondering if I should at least warn the other clerks in our stake.
