The two apps use entirely separate data, so there wouldn't be a conflict. Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the non-beta version of the app?

Back in January, upon suggestion I uninstalled the final version and installed the beta version because of random crashing issues, which helped tremendously. The crashing issues are very different than those reported by myself and others at that time.

It's been doing fine the past several days.
