Has anyone had success RENEWING an existing subscription?
I have some dear members who clutch to their paper subscriptions like they are made of gold. One expires in July, and I want to make sure they are successfully renewed WITHOUT INTERUPTION. I waited until today (four months out) to renew for them in LCR, but it still shows the same expiration.
I hit Submit under their name - no change. I un-clicked and re-clicked their selections and hit Submit - no change.
What am I missing? When (in advance of their expiration) should it be done?

I recently renewed my Liahona subscription that was supposed to expire in March. The renewal is for 12 months, and I was surprised that the new expiration is May 2026.

The member needs to sign in at the Store using their Church Account and select Magazines > Subscriptions. The page will display their current subscription expiration date and will display a renew link if that option is available.

I do not know how early a subscription can be renewed.

I have the same experience as @lajackson. Interestingly, although my subscription said it expired in March, I received the April magazines just two days after renewing my subscription (so obviously the Church had already sent me those magazines). I think it's a bit unclear how strict the expiration dates currently are, there's not enough data points yet to make any conclusions. Two thoughts:

1) It seems you are a clerk who is trying to renew subscriptions for others? Both @lajackson and I did it for our own accounts, so I can't speak to whether any clerks have had success in renewing a member's subscriptions. I know that when this was initially rolled out last year for our area, I was able to make subscriptions for other members, but I don't have that access anymore to check.

2) Perhaps even though the gui shows the ability to renew subscriptions, as @lajackson states there may be an internal limit on how far out you can do it. So if there was a limit of 3 months / 90 days, that might cause the issue you describe.
