Yes, but it was to my father who is very technical. As for getting the word out I usually check the board in semi-public places on BYU campus. (ie the Computer Science/Electrical Engineering computer labs) and that usually gets one or two people asking about it or even finding fellow LDS tech contributors.
As for other ways just mention to fellow members what you have read or learned from the forums and I am sure it will interest them enough to look at it for themselves.

You can get a point even if no one manually enters your name. At the 'FAQ' link in the header, search for 'promoting' and it'll show a referral link people can use to link here.tomw wrote:During the registration process, a new user can type in the "username" of the person who referred him to the site.
