LCR not working 3/26/22

I'm seeing the same issue. I've found instruction on what to do for donations when LCR is down but now what to do for expenses. Wondering if it's appropriate to get approval, write checks manually and then enter expenses later and NOT print another check as part of that process?

We are not able to do tithing third week running. We don't even get intermittent. Any helps or forecast on this would help.

Yes, that is correct for an emergency fast offering check. See the Help Center article Handwritten Checks in Emergencies. The article mentions the procedure is for an emergency fast-offering check. As far as regular checks being handwritten I get the impression from that article that regular reimbursement checks can be delayed to a later date when the system is up. But I would use the same procedure if the member needs the regular reimbursement sooner rather than later, an emergency also, then the emergency procedure would appear to be appropriate.

Although we were successfully able to use LCR Finance this morning for Tithing, I did test out MLS. Did a successful Send/Receive beforehand, just to see what happened. MLS allowed me to select the Donations tab, which fortunately wasn’t required!

If you're up to date, that might work. But scgallafent suggested a MLS send/receive for a ward that has fallen behind is about 4-6 hours.

Maybe that was because I regularly, maybe once a month at the height of the Covid lockdown here in the UK, carried out a Send/Receive in MLS. I do remember that it took a very long time, maybe up to 30 minutes to carry out the first Send/Receive after a long break from using MLS.

Since using LCR for entering Donations, as a matter of routine, I’ve been updating MLS regularly, just in case.
