According to Church employee nmecantwin73 in post number 33, the chance of recovering the photos expired quite some time ago.

How can I access my missionary account? I forgot both my account and password, and my mission photos are stored in the email account I used during my mission. I served in the Philippine Baguio Mission from 2016–2018. Thank you.

The last word we got is you might be able to recover the account 120 days after release. Seven years ago? No backups would have been kept that long.
