Excellent news! This is a wonderful development that has been sorely needed. The experience we've had running Roku boxes has convinced us that this approach is not only more reliable and higher performance, but massively simplifies training, setup, and operation. Fewer drops, massively better video production and connection protocols dedicated for streaming are enormously impactful for the remote locations.
I note that this thread has run for 2.5 years. Over that time we've seen a couple of significant improvements for remote locations. The first was the recent update to the servers to allow 1080P. This is the second.
Making the remote locations as close to the live location as possible has proven to be extremely important in attendance and interest in our stake. These are very welcome steps.
