Arrows in ward alphabetic list don't do anything

The arrows in the alphabetic navigation next to the list of ward members don't do anything. Here's a screenshot of the nav I'm referring to:

I'm using Safari 5.1.2 on OS X Lion.

I think the purpose of the arrows is to scroll the list up and down when the list of letters is longer than the available space. This probably won't happen too frequently on modern displays when the list only has names with characters from the English (or similar) alphabet, but in other languages, like most Asian languages, the list of characters is likely to get pretty long.

If the arrows are confusing, perhaps they could appear dynamically when the list gets too long.

Ahhhhhh. That makes sense. I shrunk my browser window and am now able to use the arrows to scroll the list up and down. Thanks jdsc256 for clarifying that!
