Online MLS?

Are there any plans (or skunkworks) to bring the Church's MLS system online? I happen to use my same MLS login as I do for our ward Web site, and I was sitting there in the clerk's office, thinking of how neat it would be if I could rearrange the deacons' quorum presidency from home, or print out a new quorum roster from home, or do all sorts of other things from home. You get the point. Will there be convergence soon?

P.S. I looked around the fora for a while (read it out loud -- *snicker*), but I couldn't see anything on this topic. Forgive me if this is a dupe. I'm sure I can't be the first to have this brilliant idea.

This has been considered for some time. It is currently being evaluated. There are many issues to consider to implement something like this so I think it will be some time before we are completely there.
