Hi,

I suspect that the 2Wire boxes we access through are somewhat limited and will simply lock up at random.

The brute force solution I use is to reboot them and then get on with life.

Is anyone else seeing this issue with the 2Wire?

I get the same hanging at home and work using the same boxes so I don't think it is unique to Church locations.

I am considering putting timers on them so they are forced to reboot while no one should be using them.

Any thoughts on this solution?

Most of those 2Wire devices are ISP provided (at&t, here in Dallas). They should support them and replace them if they are bad and require frequent reboot. I'd contact your ISP first.
