Used toner cartridges...

Our building library has got a number of old toner cartridges from the copier (Xerox). I have been ordering office supplies online from Staples E-Way. Is there a way to return old copier toner cartridges to Staples for credit, or receive a credit somehow? I have looked at the PDF for recycling Xerox toner (located elsewhere on Wiki), but just think that there should be some way to get a credit somehow, since I can take used cartridges from my printer at home to Staples and get a credit for them.

Enclosed in the replacement toner / smart drum packages are instructions for returning the used cartridges to Xerox.
Not sure about local recycling options.
