Changing last name on Ward Directory

Hello,

I was just wondering how I could change my last name on the Ward Directory. I was able to change it through my profile page but I do not see that it corrected it. It still states my maiden last name but when I click on Household and I scroll down to my current last name it is correct? It is only when I click on my name in the Relief Society link that it still shows my maiden last name. Do you know how I can fix this or does it take 24-48hrs for the change to show?

You need to speak with the ward membership clerk.

When you speak with your ward membership clerk, be sure ALL FOUR of the following entries in the Membership System (MLS) are correct:
1. Your current, full legal name.
2. Your maiden name (if applicable)
3. Your preferred name
4. The "Household Name" in your household record.
