Three Wards in a Building

There are three wards meeting in our building and at holidays each ward seems to focus in on certain days. As I understand the process for reserving a location, checking for conflicts can only be done during the scheduling of an event. This process would be much easier if we could see on our calendar that the building is reserved by one of the other wards without first attempting to schedule an event.
Am I correct in my assumption? If I am, could this concern be addressed.
If there is already a solution in place, please direct me to it.

You can indeed see all the events taking place in the building, as long as you are using Week view. See the View Events by Location section of the Viewing the Calendar help topic for details.

I would love to see this too, however our stake has not chosen to implement this as yet. We have to call a scheduler to see what dates and times are available. All done on paper, nothing in on-line calendar.

You may want to point out to the leaders Handbook 2: 13.2.7: "Church activities should be planned as far in advance as reasonable. They should be included on the stake or ward calendar. Leaders should keep parents informed of activities for children and youth."

Now, what exactly "included on the ward calendar" means is up to them to interpret, but it seems to me easier to use the tools provided then to try and create, maintain and distribute something new.
