LDS.org Search Function

I wanted to study some General Conference talks on The Book of Mormon. The following is what happened:
From LDS.org homepage I typed "Book of Mormon" into the search bar. I then filtered the results by clicking on "General Conference" on the left side. The first result is "The Sustaining of Church Officers." To me, this didn't seem like it should be the first result. Then I noticed all the results on the page were from the last General Conference, October 2013. So I click on the "sort by" drop down. "Relevance" was checked, but I clicked it anyways. All the results changed. Now the results were mostly church auditing report or statistical report or the sustaining church officers.
Am I crazy or is the search not working properly?
