PVC Vidyo Desktop

#1

Post by slatermichaeljohn1 »

The previous version of Vidyo permitted the recording of messages / training sessions that could be left in the "library" for others to access via a link provided by the author of the message.

I cannot find this possibility in the new desktop version.

Any suggestions / comments, please

If you are using PVC Desktop (VidyoDesktop), then you must upgrade to Version 3.6.3 (014) 03/01/2016 to use the desktop version of the application

If you try to use the older VidyoDesktop version, you will get a message that the portal does not support flash

Installed the new version and it works with the following browsers on a Microsoft Windows 7, 64 bit laptop
Google Chrome Version 50.0.2661.102 m (64-bit)
Mozilla Firefox Version 46.0.1
Microsoft IE Version 11.0.9600

Android 6.0.1 VidyoMobile version 2.52 is working
Apple iOS 9.3.2 VidyoMobile version 2.2.1 is working

Desktop VidyoPortal has not changed: http://pvc.lds.org

The ability to call a participant has not changed, to call headquarters 9+country code+NPANXXXXXX (918004533860) (do not use the +)

The "Control Meeting Panel", it appears to get control of a meeting, select "Launch Control Meeting Panel" found on the bottom of the "Show Participants" panel that you must enable

The "Control Meeting Panel" layout has changed and you now have a "Presenter" and "Group" buttons, etc...
